River Bores

There are times when providing a path for clients requires directional drilling under rivers, lake, ponds etc. Whether it is for telecommunication’s or utilities the solution to get from one side of a river to the other is the same. You go over or under, either attached to a bridge, poles or directional drilling. Attaching to a bridge or poles is not always permitted and may be costlier than going under. If you need help making that decision or have already made it, we are ready to assist.

Highway Crossings

Highway, tollway and road bores present their own set of challenges. A prime example is; how does the locator (the person directing the operator on pitch and depth of the bore head) avoid oncoming traffic? One way is by remote and target steering. Utilizing this technology minimizes the risk to commuters and crew alike. The project above was completed providing a path for fiber installation under I-355 and I-88.
